Building relationships with others is important, but having a good relationship with ourselves is even more important.
Once a client concludes counseling with me, I want them to be able to feel that they have a much better idea of how to deal with any mental health issues they might experience.
I am most passionate about serving the LGBTQIA+ population, as well as as individuals that experience anxiety, depression, grief, and insecurities.
I do my best work in helping individuals…
- Move out of their insecurities and into a deeper level of confidence inside themselves.
- Strengthen coping mechanisms that actually work to address their anxiety and depressive symptoms.
- Discover the person they would like to be, and implement change to work towards becoming that person.

I’m originally from India but I have lived in the Franklin area for about 6 years now.
I am a first-year international graduate student working on my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tennessee State University. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Mental Health Services and Criminology at Middle Tennessee State University.
I have volunteered with the International Department as an International Ambassador for students. During that experience, I mentored 13 students in helping them get adjusted to university life and social life here in Tennessee.
I currently volunteer at another counseling center as a Volunteer Intake Practitioner. This opportunity has allowed me to learn about maintaining client privacy, and being able to empathize with what brings individuals to therapy.
I am being supervised by Christine Finnegan, LPC-MHSP, Clinical Director at Replenish Her Counseling; as well as my TSU School Supervisor. This means that my clinical work is reviewed with both Christine and my TSU Professor, to ensure the best quality care is rendered to my clients.
One of my main hobbies is watching TV shows, knitting, writing, listening to music, and trying to cook different cuisines. Some of my favorite shows are Brooklyn 99, Supernatural, Friends, Once upon a time, and Manifest.
