I’m Eleni McKnight

I help anxious and insecure women and teen girls kick their inner-critic to the curb so that they can feel stronger and happier in their life and relationships with others.

I am a Graduate Counseling Intern at Replenish Her.

My goal is to help women and teen girls feel strong and confident in using their voice and asking for what they need.

I want my clients to believe that they are worth being loved and supported just as they are. I want to help them find strength in their voice and choosing their own terms. I feel most excited about working with teens and women that have in the past been called “too sensitive.” I love helping these clients realize their unique strength and gifts that their big hearts have to offer this world. I truly believe they will be the ones to change the world and make it a better place.

I do my best work helping women and teens…

Identify their values and what is most important to them.

Increase their belief inside themselves and their own worth.

Help define what a healthy relationship looks like to them and how to create it.

Process emotions in a healthy way.

Process traumatic and hard past experiences that continue to get in the way.

I am currently working on my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. I received a bachelor’s in Theatre Arts from the University of Tennessee. In my theater career, I appeared in multiple stage productions including William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shew, Much Ado About Nothing, and The Tempest, and several musicals, including Kiss Me Kate and My Fair Lady. I also got to be on the TV shows Nashville and Still the King, as well as music videos. I left that behind to begin my career in counseling and therapy. Being a Tennessee Volunteer, I have volunteered for the Rutherford County Sexual Assault Center, The Love Kitchen of Knoxville, the March of Dimes, and the Ronald McDonald House. I often volunteer for Twelve-Step support groups, including Eating Disorders Anonymous. I published my first novel in 2016 with WordCrafts Press, LLC, titled HOME.

When I am not working with clients I am an avid theater-supporter and writer. In my spare time, I like to read, take dance classes, cross-stitch, knit, and crochet. I am also a cat person and spend a lot of time with my cat Manny.
