I’m Amanda Lee

I help depressed and withdrawn teens improve their confidence, so that they can find their own voice and stop thinking so negatively about themselves.

I am a Graduate Counseling Intern at Replenish Her

My goal is to give teens a space where they can show up as their authentic selves.

I want teens to have an outlet where they can stop suppressing their feelings and stop pretending, because the longer and harder we suppress, the larger and more powerful our pain becomes. I want to support highly sensitive, compassionate teens who want to feel seen and heard, and give them the opportunity to let go of the pressure and stress of everyday life.

I do my best work in helping teens…

Learn to feel confident in who they are and empowered to portray their true self to the world

Value themselves and become proud of their accomplishments

Process and embrace their emotions so that they do not feel so misunderstood and alone

Find hope in the darkest of times

Tackle the stress of everyday life to relieve anxiety and panic

Amanda Lee - counseling intern Nashville

I am receiving my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. I began my career working in a women’s residential addiction treatment program. I have also volunteered my time to help support women who have been affected by sexual assault. I am trained in Brainspotting, an intensive trauma treatment that helps my clients process and understand difficult memories, experiences, and feelings in order to help them move forward feeling less anxious and depressed. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to help my clients find confidence and build resilience so that they can feel empowered to be the truest version of themself.

When I am not working with clients...

I am going to the gym, reading fiction and nonfiction books, watching Netflix, lounging with my two cats, or going to dinner with friends.
